Stewardship 2026 – With the new year fast approaching, the Saint James Finance and Property Committee is already at work on a draft budget for 2026. A major source of revenue comes from you, the congregation. It is helpful in our financial planning to know what you plan to give to the church next year. The pledge form is now ready. You can complete it online using the following link: https://forms.gle/bFzaQHo3FEbNSKxBA Special thanks to our Treasurer, Kelly Benedetti, for designing the revised form.

Hard copies are also available in the narthex and can be sent to you via U.S. Mail by request. Because St. James is a non-profit organization, all your donations are tax deductible. Giving envelopes for next year are also available for pickup in the narthex. If you have any questions, please contact Edith in the church office at 215-757-3766 or stjameslanghorne330@gmail.com

Our Preschool is having its Bingo and Raffle fundraiser on Saturday, November 8th at 6:00 p.m. In previous years, the prizes were Coach designer bags and purses; this year, the school will feature variety of non-handbag prizes to be more inclusive. In addition to the Bingo, there will be raffle baskets for which you can purchase chances. Proceeds from the fundraiser will help pay for new materials for the classrooms, playground upkeep, and supplies for special events.

Tickets are now on sale at $40 per ticket. Applications can be found in the narthex. Please reach out to Preschool Director Carol Curran with any questions through email stjamespreschoolPA@gmail.com or by calling the office (215-757-3132). And Bingo was his name-o.

Did you know?  On this date in the year 1366, much of Europe experienced a massive meteor shower. Many astronomers now believe the meteors came from the Comet 55P/Tempel-Tuttle (discovered by astronomers Wilhelm Tempel and Horace Tuttle in 1865 and 1866). The Comet has an orbital path approximately 33.3 years and most recently passed the Earth in 2002.
